I spent 6.5 years at CorVel Corporation, a publicly-traded healthcare and risk management company, growing from Marketing Assistant to Content Marketing Manager. It was the kind of role that required range—I wrote thought leadership content on complex topics like AI and data privacy, managed video campaigns from concept through post-production, developed customer case studies, led LinkedIn strategy and paid advertising, and presented regularly to executive leadership. I learned how to manage competing priorities, collaborate across teams, and deliver polished work.

After CorVel, I took a sharp turn and led sales and operations for Hartworks Floral, a high-end floral events company in San Diego. I managed large-scale corporate and private events, led teams, handled client relationships, and oversaw projects from first inquiry through on-site execution. Running a service business from the inside gave me a perspective that's hard to get from the corporate side alone. I understood firsthand the importance of effective systems to deliver exceptional work, and it strengthened my ability to make quick decisions and problem-solve under pressure.

Today, I bring both of those worlds to my consulting practice. I know what strategic, well-executed marketing looks like at scale, and I know what it's like to be the person doing everything at once.
